Body Tingling When You Wake Up?
Right when I woke up, I felt a tingling sensation, and felt something crawling all over my body, legs to head, like walking for a walk. is this a tingling effect or something else?
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
There are various kinds of sensation disturbances that can appear in the body. Tingling and sensations like something crawling in the body can be one of them. This condition most often arises due to a deficiency of certain vitamins or minerals that play an important role in maintaining the health of nerve cells. Some examples are vitamins B1 (thiamine), B3 (niacin), B6 (pyridoxine), B9 (folic acid), B12, calcium, potassium, and magnesium. The trigger can be due to inadequate nutritional intake, prolonged vomiting or diarrhea, and so on.
In addition to vitamin and mineral deficiencies as mentioned above, your complaints may also arise due to other causes, for example:
Excessive pressure on the part of the body that has impaired sensation Dehydration (lack of fluid) Pinched nerves Diabetes (diabetes, due to a deficiency or resistance to the hormone insulin) Stroke (neurological deficit persists for more than 24 hours due to rupture or blockage of blood vessels in the brain) Brain tumor Imbalance hormonal Multiple sclerosis (autoimmune disorder that attacks the nerve covering membranes / myelin) Side effects of drugs, such as chemotherapy, anti-seizures, antibiotics, antiretrovirals Toxicity, for example from mercury, thallium, lead, arsenic Alcohol intoxication Impaired kidney, liver, thyroid and thyroid function disorders etc. It is also possible that the sensation of something crawling inside your body arises due to other causes, such as psychosomatic disorders, worm infections (cutaneus larva migrans), and so on.
So, because there are so many possible triggers for your complaint, we recommend that you check with your doctor first so that the cause of your complaint is clear. In cases that are suspected to be serious, the doctor may also recommend further tests, such as blood tests, electromyography, and so on accordingly. with suspicion of illness.
In the meantime, you can overcome your complaint first by compressing the uncomfortable body area with a warm compress. Don't wear clothes that are too tight and always keep yourself clean, don't travel barefoot. Drink enough, eat healthy and nutritious food, stay away from alcohol, cigarettes, and illegal drugs.
Hope it helps ya..
