Both Testicles Sometimes Drop At Certain Temperatures?
excuse me, I’m a 21-year-old man, I initially noticed something strange about my organs where the testes don’t always fall where I thought they were normal because of my ignorance, but my second testes sometimes dropped in place at certain temperatures. Is that normal? How should.
The testes are oval-shaped organs that hang in the scrotum. Testes function to store, produce sperm, and produce the hormone testosterone. Testes can sometimes be slightly different in size between right and left and sometimes one of the testes is also lower than the other testis. This is a normal variation.
The testis also has its own temperature regulation mechanism, where when the weather is cold, the scrotum will shrink and the testicles are drawn close to the body, while during hot weather the scrotum will relax and the testes will stay away from the body. This is what you might feel at certain temperatures.
But if the testis does not go down at all / the scrotum does not contain the testis, this needs to be aware of as cryptorchidism / undescensus of the testis. This condition occurs at birth and is generally recognized since infancy where the testicular sac is felt empty. Handling cryptorchidism is by surgery, usually done after the baby is more than 6 months old. Untreated cryptorchidism carries the risk of infertility and increases the risk of testicular cancer.
To ascertain your condition, I suggest that you consult directly with a urologist so that further examination can be done if necessary ultrasound or MRI. Furthermore, doctors can provide further treatment if needed.
Meanwhile, to maintain the health of the testicles, you should use pants that are comfortable and not tight, avoid hot water bathing for a long time / too often, avoid free sex, and make it a habit of healthy living.
Hope it helps you,
