Hello Dede Fitra,
The breast is composed of fat tissue, connective tissue, mammary glands, milk ducts, blood vessels, lymph nodes, with the base part being muscles. The shape and size of a woman's breasts will change from childhood to adulthood. These changes are greatly influenced by hormones in a woman's body and also other factors such as the presence of a lump or infection.
Breasts will generally increase in size during pregnancy and breastfeeding. This is due to an increase in the production of the hormones estrogen and progesterone which causes increased fat accumulation in the breast and enlargement of the milk glands. Besides the connective tissue will stretch due to increased breast size during pregnancy, but after breastfeeding is complete the size of the breast will decrease and become less elastic / tight as before. Milk production begins after the process of release of the placenta which is triggered due to the production of the hormone prolactin. If you breastfeed, there will be a prolactin hormone production so that breast milk continues to be produced. But if you don't breastfeed for a few days, the production will decrease and the size of the breasts will shrink again.
Breast size is strongly influenced by the fat component in it. If you now have a weight or thinner body than before, then it is very possible the size of the breast becomes smaller. As many as 70% of women who breastfeed experience breast changes become more loose after breastfeeding. Therefore, if the fat component is also reduced, the breast will appear smaller or even smaller than before pregnancy. It also can appear stretch marks in the breast due to previous stretches.
The smaller breast size is normal for some women after giving birth. This condition is not harmful to health, but it might make you insecure. You can do some exercise or exercise to build muscle behind the breasts so that the breasts are firmer (but do not change the size of the breasts) or you can use a breast brace to look good when wearing clothes.
Please check with your doctor if there is a clear difference between the size of the right and left breast, there are palpable lumps in the breast, there are sores that appear on the breast skin, or there is discharge from the breast (other than breast milk). Thus the explanation from me, hopefully useful.
