Brown Spots Without Contractions?
Hello. My pregnancy is now 39 weeks 3 days. From yesterday, I found brown spots. The amount is not too much, yes in general spots. But I do not experience contractions / mules, only the normal kenceng2 which is also not painful. Is this normal? Should I go to the hospital? thanks.
Thank you for the question.
The release of brown spots at more than 37 weeks' gestation can be part of the signs of labor or not. These spots should be a vigilant sign of childbirth when the appearance of a bed, followed, or preceded by amniotic fluid seepage, feeling of wanting to push, and an increase in the intensity, frequency and duration of uterine contractions. The uterine contractions can be felt as pain, twisting, heartburn, tight, or heat that starts from the lower abdomen, radiating to the genitals and lower back. Are there any of these signs that you are experiencing?
Normally, labor occurs in the range of 37 to 40 weeks' gestation. Therefore, if the spots you experience are accompanied by the signs above, you should check yourself directly to the doctor or obstetrician to determine whether your labor will indeed appear in the near future or not.
In the meantime, don't panic yet. Get plenty of rest and do frequent breathing exercises. Wear comfortable clothes, eat and drink enough so that stamina is maintained. Do not forget, do not carelessly take any medicine or ingredients, except if it is recommended directly by the doctor. In addition, do not massage the stomach and do not also push before instructed by the doctrine.
Hope this helps ...
