Bruised Wounds Hit?
Morning … I want to ask, my 3-year-old child in the right-hand corner is hit by a collision. (not in his eyes). 3 days, it starts to deflate, but the purple color is around the eyelids. But his eyes are normal. What to do.
Hello, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com
Bruising after a collision or injury is common. This happens because of the accumulation of blood under the skin due to the injury.
Bruises will generally fade slowly and gradually recover. Blood is absorbed again by the body. You do not need to worry about the color changes that occur, usually a reddish bruise, then turn purplish, then greenish, yellowish and then gradually recover.
Tips for you:
Apply cold compresses to the eyelid that is injured with ice wrapped in cloth or towel
Do not press or manipulate
Increase fluid intake
Sleep and rest enough
Look for some warning signs when the swelling gets bigger, or bruises that continue to turn red or purple and don't fade.
If the complaint does not improve or you are worried you should check your child to an ophthalmologist to get further examination and treatment related to your condition
So much information from me, hopefully it helps
