Bruises And Greenish Should Be Compressed With What Water?
My feet are bruised bluish and greenish can I compress it with ice water or warm water? And should I stop walking or what? thank you
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
First of all, I want to make sure in advance, whether the bruising is really happening because of a collision on your feet or occur spontaneously (just show up). If it happens because of a collision, how hard the impact you experience. In addition, you should also describe how much the bruises are.
In general, bruises occur due to blunt force impact on the skin. This condition is not dangerous and does not cause certain disorders or complications. Most bruises will resolve on their own within 10-14 days without requiring any therapy. If your bruises are very painful, you can compress your bruises with cold compresses 15-20 minutes several times a day for the first 1-2 days, elevate your legs when you sit or lie down to reduce swelling, or take pain relievers such as paracetamol if very painful indeed. After 2 days have passed, you can compress your bruises with warm compresses. You don't need to stop moving or walking.
If indeed your impact is very hard (for example because you had an accident), then it needs to be re-evaluated, if there is an injury to the bone (for example you see a deformity or changes in the shape of your leg bones). If yes, immediately check yourself into the hospital. If bruising occurs spontaneously, there is no history of collisions beforehand, then check with your intern doctor to determine the cause.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
