Bruises Around The Scar Accompanied By A Yellowish Tint?
Good evening, I’m riding a clutch motorcycle and fitting my left knee down the edge gets stuck on the foot step. When I check the skin to peel a little and there are small wounds, I leave it because later it will also heal. But just this morning I realized how bruised the edges. The one near the wound is purple and the surrounding is yellow. Why is that?
Hello Nabilla, thank you for asking.
Scratches due to blunt trauma are often accompanied by bruises. Bruising is caused by rupture of capillaries in the skin. When the capillaries burst, blood will come out of the connective tissue, and then the body will activate the blood clotting system. Red blood cells that come out of the tissue will then die and will be 'cleansed' by white blood cells. During the healing process the bruise will change color from reddish to bluish purple, then greenish yellow, then finally fade and disappear. That is normal for all types of bruises, both small and large.
In your wound should be considered whether swelling, redness, and pain arise. If these symptoms occur, chances are your wound has a mild infection. To prevent infection, routinely clean the wound with clean gauze moistened with boiled water. You can use antiseptic solutions to reduce the risk of infection. If you feel the symptoms of the infection getting worse, you should do a doctor's examination.
Thus a brief explanation from us, hopefully helped. Regards.
