Hello I want to ask .. About 5 days ago I experienced a fall from the motor and my upper left arm had a large enough bruise until my upper arm was stiff … Why after a few days the red bruising spread to my forearm? (like the forearm did not swell but the bruising red just went down) (I had a doctor and was given a blood-toning and anti-pain medication and also I had to rub bruises with Zambuk)

1 Answer:

Hello Kevin,

Blunt physical trauma such as an accident that you experience, can indeed cause bruising. The extent and depth of the bruise depend on the magnitude of the impact of the trauma. Sometimes in a fairly severe trauma, bruising can indeed continue to spread for several days after the trauma event. Bruising results from tearing of blood vessels under the skin and injury to muscles.

If your bruising is accompanied by pain that is getting more and more severe, swollen enlarged, or bruising continues to expand, you should consult again with your doctor. It is also possible that there is deeper bleeding, or injury to the bones and joints, or there can be an obstruction of the blood vessels that expand. You can take painkillers to help reduce pain. Please do not massage the area because it might cause more severe injury.

Hopefully this answer can help you a little find the best solution. Regards.
