Bruising On The Back Does Not Hurt And Does Not Go Away?
Good morning, I was shocked a few years ago when a bruise appeared on my back around 2016. And I never felt like I fell or hit something. And until now the bruised mark has not lost its purplish fading color. But a few months ago the color of the bruise was dark purple and there was a slight pain over the bruise. Are there any diseases from the bruising? Please explain doctor. Until now I have not dared to check directly to the doctor. Thank you
Thank you for the question.
Bruises on the back that appear suddenly, do not disappear, and often feel sore can occur due to mild conditions, but can also be dangerous, for example:
Injury to the back, whether consciously or not
Blood clotting disorders, such as due to ITP (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura), hemophilia, leukemia, vitamin K deficiency
Others, for example vasculitis, dengue hemorrhagic fever, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and so on
This condition should be wary of if it appears accompanied by other signs of bleeding, such as recurrent nosebleeds, bleeding gums, black bowel movements, reddish skin rashes, and so on. If none of these conditions you experience, chances are your condition is not dangerous. However, to be more sure, it never hurts to go to see your doctor directly. If you suspect that your condition does occur in connection with an illness, it may be that the doctor will direct you to undergo a blood test, or other supporting tests according to the suspicion of the disease.
Hope this helps ...
