Hello Fitri, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Is the shortness of breath that you feel is happening because your stomach feels tired and windy?
The condition you are experiencing may be due to acid reflux disease, also known as gastroesophageal reflux disease or GERD. The following are some of the symptoms that can be found in this disease:
heartburn and pain in the chest, tend to occur after eating or while sleeping
flatulence and often belching
regurgitation or eating often occurs and stomach acid comes out into the mouth when belching
the mouth often feels sour or bitter, especially after belching
a lump in the throat and difficulty swallowing
Shortness of breath is also a symptom that is not uncommon for GERD sufferers and can occur due to a feeling of arousal from a bloated stomach.
Although it may be caused by acid reflux disease, further evaluation is needed if indeed you also experience symptoms of fatigue. Shortness of breath accompanied by symptoms of rapid fatigue can be caused by disorders of the heart or lungs (such as heart failure, heart valve disorders, arrhythmias, or COPD). We recommend that you consult a doctor of internal medicine so that further evaluation can be done on your disease.
For now, try doing the things below:
eat a little more but more often, avoid eating a lot at once
avoid eating foods that are too greasy, too spicy, and too sour
avoid eating foods that produce gas
Avoid consumption of alcohol, coffee, and soft drinks
avoid strenuous activities after eating
avoid sleeping / lying down after eating
sleep with a higher pillow
lose weight if there is excess weight
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
