Burping Repeatedly And The Upper Abdomen Feels Large And Hard?
I burp continuously for 3 months more especially if I have eaten spicy food. My upper stomach also feels big and hard. I wonder what kind of illness I am suffering from because it is very disturbing for my activities
Hello. Thank you for the question submitted to HealthReplies.com. We can understand the concern you feel.
Belching is one of the body's efforts to release gas into the digestive tract. There are several possible causes of repeated burping complaints, including:
Consumption of certain foods / drinks that produce gas (example: carbonated / carbonated drinks, nuts, broccoli, foods with lots of sugar / flour, etc.)
Gastroesophageal reflux disease [GERD], symptoms: burning sensation in the solar plexus that rises to the back of the breastbone, bitter / acid in the mouth, a lot of belching, abdominal bloating, nausea. Symptoms of weight after eating or lying down)
Gastritis (inflammation of the stomach wall, symptoms: heartburn, nausea, bloating, belching)
To reduce belching complaints, you are advised to take the following steps:
Avoid consumption of certain foods / drinks that produce gas
Eat smaller portions and frequency more often so that the stomach does not fill quickly
Go to a doctor or a specialist in internal medicine for further evaluation and treatment if the complaint does not improve with good eating arrangements
