I want to ask, I first had KB 3 months after giving birth in October 2018 on the 5th and was told to go back again on December 30, 2018, after I KB on December 30, 2018 I saw I came again on March 23, is it really like that? Because I’m afraid that I’m late, and I want to know how to calculate it. Please help, thanks

1 Answer:

Good evening, thanks for the question
Calculation of KB injection schedule is based on the length of the normal menstrual cycle, which is for 28 days. If you use the 3-month KB injection method, the injection is done every 3x28 days, that is after the 84th day. If the last time you had a KB injection was 30 December 2018, it means that the 84th day falls on 23 March, which means you have to re-inject March 24, 2019. The 3-month injection method is actually long enough for the return of fertility so there is no need to worry too much if you are late for the injection. But it is better if you experience injections delay more than 1 week then do further consultations with your doctor and do a pregnancy test before returning to use injection KB.
That's all, hope you can help
Wassalam
