Can A Headache And A Tight Stomach After Eating Late Trigger Typhus?
Hello, on the 3rd I went to Bogor by train. Before leaving, I didn’t eat rice. On the train, they only eat bread and instant cup noodles. When I wake up my head feels dizzy when I face up and my stomach feels tight. Can it trigger the onset of typhus? Thank you
Good afternoon, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com. Typhoid or typhoid fever is a condition in which a person is infected with Salmonella typhii bacteria which can enter through food and drinks that have been contaminated with these bacteria. This condition is characterized by symptoms of fluctuating fever, diarrhea / loose stools or even difficulty defecating, headaches, and abdominal pain.
With the process of spreading through contaminated food and drinks, if you are sure that the food you eat has good packaging, and your hands are clean when eating it, then the chances of getting typhus from these foods will be much lower. The extraordinary dizziness and tight stomach that you feel can arise due to gastrointestinal infections, motion sickness, colitis and low blood pressure.
However, if this condition persists you should consult your doctor. Your doctor will perform a physical examination and any necessary supports to determine the diagnosis of your disease, such as a directional test.
Meanwhile, get enough rest, avoid delaying eating, avoid consuming spicy, oily and acidic foods, avoid soft drinks, and increase the consumption of water. We wish you and your family good health.
That's all, hope it helps.
