Can Ambroxol And Theophylline Be Taken Together During Asthma?
I have asthma yesterday when I was given prescription drugs like 4 Tp that I took only 2 kinds of ambroxol and teosal are they dangerous?
Good afternoon, thanks for the question
Theosal contains the active ingredients theophylline and salbutamol. Both are a type of bronchodilator drug, which works to widen the airway by relaxing the respiratory muscles so that it is expected that complaints of tightness are reduced. While ambroxol is a type of mucolytic, which functions to thin the mucus in the airways so that it is more easily removed through a coughing mechanism. Both have different ways of working and are often combined in several conditions, for example in cases of asthma. You can take both at the same time if it has been previously prescribed, but it should be within a certain period that has been recommended by the doctor who handles it according to your medical condition so that unwanted side effects occur. If you have prescribed several types of drugs, you should re-read the instructions for use on the drug label. Some drugs are not intended to be consumed until they are used up, that is, only if there are symptoms, while others need to be consumed for a certain period of time.
That's all, hope you can help
