Can Breastfeeding Become Smaller Again After Breastfeeding?
I want to ask, once I was pregnant and gave birth, right, about 3-hour-old baby died because of swallowing amniotic fluid. After that, I don’t breastfeed and I don’t know what medicine the milk doctor gave me, but the water doesn’t come out, but the milk is big. I became less and more uncomfortable because of that. After 1 1/2 years I became pregnant and gave birth. then breastfeeding. My question is whether after breastfeeding later my milk can shrink again or mmg trs big. The problem is it’s not like and uncomfortable. answered y
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically, the size and shape of a woman's breasts can indeed change after pregnancy. These changes can be either permanent or not (meaning they can return to their size and shape before pregnancy). This can vary from woman to woman, so it cannot be determined whether your breasts will be able to shrink again after you finish breastfeeding later. The main factor that determines this is genetic.
When you are still breastfeeding, your breasts can look bigger and more swollen because the milk glands in the breast experience enlargement and increase in number as well. After you finish breastfeeding later, chances are your breasts won't look as big as when you breastfeed, but the size itself will not necessarily be smaller again as before you were pregnant.
If you really feel disturbed by the size of breasts that are too large, you can do breast reduction operations. Consult with a plastic surgeon to find out more complete operating procedures.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
