Can Bronchitis Be Cured?
Hello good night, my chest x-ray and the results I have indications of bronkities even though I do not smoke. I want to ask, can bronkities be cured? Then how can you avoid infecting other diseases? thank you
Hello Fatin, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.
I will try to help answer.
Bronchitis is an inflammation that occurs in the bronchus (a part of the airway), which is caused by viruses or bacteria, cigarettes, cigarette smoke, exposure to irritants, pollutants. Inflammation can be in the form of excessive phlegm production, and cough accompanied by phlegm. In general, the symptoms felt are in the form of:
Cough can be phlegm or not for 2-3 weeks
Phlegm can be clear, white, yellowish or greenish
Fever is generally mild
Feeling heavy and uncomfortable chest
Out of breath
Generally patients with bronchitis can recover well. In order not to get worse the patient must maintain his lifestyle, avoiding pollutants such as cigarette smoke, vehicle smoke, pollution, dust. Exercise regularly, avoid cold weather.
If complaints such as severe chest pain, shortness of breath, high fever, take it to the nearest hospital to get further treatment.
Thus a brief explanation from me, hopefully can help. thanks.
