Hello, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com
Hyperemesis gravidarum or excessive nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. This often occurs especially in the first trimester of pregnancy as a result of changes in hormonal fluctuations that occur early in pregnancy. In general, emesis gravidarum will slowly subside by itself after 14 weeks gestation and peak nausea generally occurs at 8-10 weeks gestation.
Treatment given is generally symptomatic or in accordance with symptoms that appear with the aim to relieve these symptoms.
Drug selection in pregnant women is different in other adult patients. In the information you convey, you only mention 1 type of drug, which is an antacid which is safe to use for pregnant women. While you did not mention other drugs, then I cannot conclude whether all the drugs you take are safe for pregnant women.
In the meantime what you can do include:
Avoiding odors, noise and excessive flickering of light that can trigger nausea Lots of rest and less movement Using loose clothing Drinking ginger water when feeling nauseous Eating dry snacks (eg biscuits) periodically Consuming foods with high carbohydrate content but low in fat If your complaint does not improve or you are worried, you should check with your obstetrician for further examination and treatment related to your condition
So much information from me, hopefully it helps
