Can Degenerative Diseases Of The Skin Be Called Aging?
good morning i want to ask about degenerative disorders in integumentary systems including aging
Aging is a physiological process where every individual will experience it where in this process there will be many changes in the body compared to before. The aging process itself varies in each individual influenced by genetics, lifestyle, and also other factors. Aging in body systems and organs such as the integumentary system, which is white hair, wrinkled skin, and a nervous system that becomes more insensitive itself is not included as a degenerative disease if it occurs in accordance with age.
Degenerative disorders themselves are changes that can occur regardless of age which can be triggered by many things such as daily lifestyle or habits that can underlie the onset of degenerative diseases. Some degenerative diseases that can arise such as:
Cardiovascular disease or vascular disorders can arise at a young age due to obesity, lack of physical activity, stress or smoking habits
Diabetes mellitus due to lifestyle
Cancer that can be caused by carcinogenic exposure, lifestyle or genetics
For this reason, a number of things that can be done to prevent degenerative disorders include eating healthy foods, avoiding fast food or processed food preservatives, implementing healthy lifestyles, carrying out regular physical activities such as exercising regularly, scanning bad habits such as smoking, consume alcohol, and also try to get enough rest and manage stress well.
