Can Hemorrhoid Sufferers Donate Blood?
hello, I suffer from hemorrhoids (if I’m not mistaken) around my anus there are lumps / bumps .. I’ve experienced it since I was in junior high until now 23 years old. it used to be a small lump … now it’s rather big … sometimes it hurts and gets bigger if I eat goat satay, fried duck, goat gule etc. Is that true hemorrhoids? it used to be severe until it bled while still in high school. but thankfully after high school until now it’s not bleeding anymore. but there are still lumps
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
The emergence of a lump in the anus that feels painful and bleeds easily can indeed be caused by swelling of the anal vein, or also known as hemorrhoids (hemorrhoids). This condition often occurs due to increased pressure around the anus, for example due to constipation, diarrhea or chronic vomiting, excessive coughing, obesity, or also side effects after pregnancy and vaginal delivery. Depending on the severity, there are conditions that can improve considerably with medication and lifestyle modification, but there are also those that need to be treated with surgery (hemorrhoidectomy or stapled hemorrhoidopexy).
Not only hemorrhoids, complaints that you experience can also occur due to anal abscesses, anal prolapse, anal cancer, and infections or other tumors around the anus. Handling of a variety of conditions can certainly be different from the treatment of hemorrhoids.
Therefore, even though it is no longer bleeding, you should still check your condition to the doctor or surgeon, right. If hemorrhoids are correct, then if the treatment is too late, you run the risk of excessive bleeding until the symptoms of gastrointestinal obstruction are potentially life-threatening.
The initial steps that you should take at this time:
Does not pull or forcefully insert a lump in the anus
Always keep the anal area clean
Not getting used to hold BAB
Expand to drink and eat fibrous foods to avoid constipation
Maintain ideal body weight
Don't overload or push heavy loads
Do not carelessly drink or apply drugs to the anus without a doctor's prescription
Hope this helps ...
