Hello, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com
Wet lung is an abnormality in lung tissue due to the process of infection causing the accumulation of fluid in the lung tissue. These conditions cause lung tissue to not function properly, so that patients will complain of shortness of breath, coughing with or without phlegm, coughing up blood, chest pain and high fever. Any symptoms that appear depend on the severity of the lung infection. The infection can be caused by bacteria, viruses or fungi. So it's not a humid and cold room that directly causes wet lung disease. However, a humid room, lack of lighting and lack of air exchange ventilation become a place where germs like to grow and develop. Especially if the room is dirty and lots of dust due to rarely cleaned. Plus the room is often used by smokers to smoke. Germs brought by guests who visit or who are brought in from outside will be able to easily grow and develop and then cause illness.
Therefore, keep your room clean, especially the bedroom. Move to a boarding room that has adequate ventilation and windows to allow air and sunlight to pass through.
To find out if you really experience wet lungs, you should immediately consult a specialist lung doctor. The doctor will conduct a medical interview and physical examination as well as the necessary supporting examinations, such as chest X-ray and sputum examination. The treatment that will be given later is based on the cause of your illness.
Thus hopefully useful.
