Can I Do Outbound Activities After Having A Broken Bone In The Hand?
Hello, about 3 months ago I just recovered a broken bone in my hand. Can I climb rock climbing, flaying fox etc? The point is doing all activities related to the hand. Explanation please:)
Hello Ayuu, Thank you for the question.
The fracture healing process takes place gradually and this process generally occurs optimally within 3-6 months. To achieve good and optimal healing needs to be supported by a number of factors such as the initial condition of the fracture (severity of the bone pata), proper handling of fractures, good nutrition, good wound care, and a number of other factors. If one of these factors is disrupted, the healing process of broken bones can be disrupted and last longer. In general, if you have undergone proper fracture management in consultation with an orthopedic specialist and you have checked with your doctor for no significant problems, then usually after 3 months you can use your hands for shearian activities. But of course to get back to heavier activities it is usually necessary to exercise periodic fisk to strengthen muscles and bones.
Due to limited information about the condition you experienced before, which bone was broken, and the treatment you went through, it is recommended that you consult your orthopedic specialist again. The doctor will do a physical examination of your hand and take x-rays. The doctor will determine whether your hands can be used for activities that are heavier than the examination. In the meantime, please do regular physical exercise on the broken arm; do this exercise repeatedly to help strengthen muscles and bones.
I hope this helps.
