Can I Give Birth Normally?
During the afternoon, I wanted to ask about my pregnancy, the last ultrasound Uk was 33w5d but the SPOG doctor stated that the fetus was entangled in the umbilical cord and was still in a breech position, now my UK is 34w5d since being diagnosed like that every morning I always walk 30 minutes in the morning even since UK 7 months, and do the kneechest position 3-4x a day for 10 minutes, now what I feel is sometimes fetal movement that is felt at the top but also at the bottom, sometimes there is pain in the lower abdomen and the desire for BAK has increased until now the waist also feels sore not as usual, r nplease ask for your information and help, I wonder if my fetus is in a good position and can I give birth normally? r nthank you
Hello Nanik, thank you for the question for HealthReplies.com
Generally, babies' head will face down at 30 weeks of gestation. After passing 30 weeks the position of the baby's head is still possible to change until 34 weeks of gestation, although the possibility is quite small. If after 34 weeks the baby's head is still facing upwards, it is likely that the baby will be born breech.
The symptoms you feel cannot be used to determine whether the baby's head is facing down or not. To be able to find this, it is necessary to directly examine the stomach (Leopold's examination) or see directly using ultrasound. These symptoms may only indicate that your baby has started descending into the pelvis.
Regarding the possibility of you giving birth normally, women with breech baby positions can actually still give birth normally (not necessarily having CS). However, you should discuss this with your obstetrician, because the condition of pregnancy for each woman can be different.
So much information from me, hopefully it will be enough to answer
