Can I Store Liquid Contact Lenses In The Refrigerator Or Refrigerator?
Hello, I want to ask, is it okay to store sofflens liquid for soaking or liquid drops and softlens in the refrigerator? Because the temperature in my city is often extreme heat I am afraid of damaging the content in the contact lens but I often feel sore when using the contact lens ,, I guess it is because the water level is too high but when I buy the contact lens again the low content still feels sore when usage by way of storing the same water contact lens ?? Does the way the contact lens contact is influential or is there another factor? Thanks.
Hello Vante, thank you for asking.
Soaking liquid or soft contact cleaner is a liquid that aims to clean siftlens from dirt or microorganisms that may be attached to the contact lens. This liquid also serves to maintain the humidity of the contact lens. Liquid eye drops on the user contact lens composition is made as closely as possible with tears, so that the eye membrane does not experience dryness.
There is no standard requirement whether the contact lens liquid must be stored in the refrigerator or not. Note the expiration date of the two liquids. Try changing to another brand's liquid and make sure the quality is good. Pay attention to the pain you are experiencing, whether it only happens when you store liquid in the refrigerator or the pain also appears when you do not store liquid in the refrigerator. Pay attention to the type, quality, and expiration of your sotlens. Limit the use of contact lenses so that they do not exceed 8-10 hours. If you still continue to experience the same problem, it helps you immediately consult an eye doctor.
Thus the info from me, hopefully it helps. Regards.
