Can People With Nerve Pain Be Scraped Off?
Hello Nancy, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Kerok is actually one of the traditional treatment methods which is done by rubbing the surface of the skin repeatedly with coins or other objects. Scraping causes rupture of small blood vessels (or called capillaries) under the skin to cause reddish color under the skin in the scraped area. Doing scrapings is believed to have certain health benefits. Although many people do scrapings, medically, there are no specific health benefits or certain negative effects that can occur from these scrapings.
Patients with nerve nerves may do kerok because basically there is no certain negative impact caused. But once again, the benefits of doing medical scrapings are also unclear. Doing so will only cause pain in the skin. If you have problems in blood clotting or you are taking certain medications that interfere with blood clots, you should not do scrapings.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
