Can Stomach Infections Be A Dangerous Cancer?
I have a friend, and it has been claimed by Domter that he has a stomach infection. and after I read a few articles, many link gastric infections to stomach cancer.
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Gastric infection is a condition in which an infection occurs in the stomach wall and causes inflammation in the stomach wall. Gastric wall initially can be in the form of inflammation due to high stomach acid and thus damage to the stomach wall facilitates bacterial infections which are generally caused by H. pylori bacteria.
Gastric inflammation or known as gastritis can be triggered by various conditions such as the type of food consumed, the stress on the stomach, for example in an accident condition or someone undergoing surgery and so on. In addition, it can also be triggered because of taking pain medication for a long time.
Stomach cancer is a condition where there is a change in the cells in the stomach toward malignancy and uncontrolled growth. Some risk factors for gastric cancer are as follows:
Consuming unhealthy foods and unhealthy lifestyle
Family history of gastric cancer
Age 55 years and above
Prolonged gastric infection that is not handled properly
Cancer or tumors in other parts of the body.
Previous history of gastric surgery
Some of the factors above can trigger the occurrence of gastric cancer but are of course multifactorial in nature and cannot be seen or concluded because of just one factor. Gastric infections that have occurred should be handled properly and of course by living a healthy lifestyle can reduce the risk of severe disease of course.
So that I can convey, hopefully useful.
