at night..rnDoc, I want to ask this, I gave birth normally 5 years ago and got 10 stitches on the inside and now it looks like my inner seam is open, because when I wash the inside, it won’t work, I have to sew it again or what? ???rnTHANK YOU…
Hi Chiko, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com
The normal delivery process in some conditions can cause tears (either accidentally or intentionally / episiotomy to facilitate the delivery). Postpartum sutures are needed to join the tear. Each person takes a different amount of time to recover, depending on many factors such as:
Maintenance of sutures Control of sutures Hygiene Nutrition and nutrition etc. In general, there is no need for thread removal because the thread will slowly disappear over time, but for the outer sutures, it is generally possible to remove the suture during control. If you gave birth 5 years ago, then most likely the stitches are tight and you don't need to do the stitches again if they come off (and that rarely happens -- usually they've been removed during a check-up, or using a type of thread that doesn't need to be removed). As long as there are no accompanying complaints, this condition is generally safe, for further details you can see a doctor or midwife for further examination and treatment. So much information that we can convey, may be useful. Regards, Dr. Prasetyo
