Can The Consumption Of Amoxicillin Be Taken Together With Other Drugs?
Afternoon, so I have had strep throat 3 days ago and to this day has not healed. I also had a fever. During the first day of fever Saturday morning I only took Paracetamol. Then last night I was recommended to take amoxicillin along with Paracetamol. Finally I consumed 2 types of drugs until this afternoon. But I want the inflammation to be cured quickly, because tomorrow I have a singing contest. I also tried all kinds of methods, from gargling using salt water, drinking warm water + ginger, chewing garlic, to drinking a solution of water + apple vinegar. Is it dangerous to react with the antibiotics I take? Please help
Hello Fabrielle, thank you for asking.
Sore throat can be pharyngitis, tonsillitis, pharyngotonsillitis, or laryngitis. The cause can be bacterial infections, viral infections, or disorders of the stomach that cause gastric juice to turn up into the throat. Excessive use of the vocal cords as in a singer or host can also cause inflammation of the larynx or is called laryngitis.
Not all strep throat is caused by a bacterial infection. Take antibiotics without doctor's advice and without the appropriate dosage and frequency, is not recommended. If inflammation is caused by a virus, then you actually do not need to take antibiotics. The principle is, no disease can be cured instantly. You can only consume natural ingredients to help your recovery, but the process of the disease journey to recovery takes time. Give a distance of about 2-3 hours between drinks or foods that are acidic to the time of drug consumption. This is important so that the effects of the drug do not decrease.
Consult this problem with your doctor. The doctor will determine whether you should take antibiotics or not. Avoid oily foods. Drink plenty of water. Limit use of sound.
Thus the information that I can give. May be useful. Regards.
