Can The Consumption Of Cold Medicine Be Combined With Pain Medication?
Hello,. I want to ask. I am taking Diclofenac Potassium 50 mg because of pain caused by my teeth. And right now I have a cold, so I want to take market flu medicines like Ultraflu, Mixagrip Flu, etc. My question is, are there any side effects that will occur if I take both drugs at the same time?
Hello, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com
Diclofenac potassium is a class of pain relievers which are included in non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), in general the drugs do not have interactions that are cough and cold medicine. However, long-term use can cause irritation to the stomach wall. Therefore, its use should be under the supervision and advice of your doctor. This drug should be taken when the stomach is filled or after eating.
If your complaint does not improve or you are worried you should check with your nearest doctor for further examination and treatment related to your condition
So much information from me, hopefully it helps
