Hello, I was checked out from the ENT doctor yesterday, he said my tonsils have entered T2 – T2, I want to work, but they are hampered by these tonsils, can the T2 tonsils be reduced to T1? with drugs or whatever

1 Answer:

Hello Rivansyah, thank you for asking at HealthReplies.com.

Tonsillary glands which often experience inflammation in the past to cause scarring in this gland, when it is enlarged will not be able to return to its original size. The nature of tonsil glands is not the same as a rubber that can enlarge and shrink back to its original size.

Until now, there is no medicine that can restore the size of tonsils that have been enlarged due to the formation of connective tissue in the gland. Surgery to remove tonsillitis itself is generally not recommended only on the basis of reducing the size of tonsils. This surgery is only recommended if there are certain indications such as blocking the airway.

For your current case, you should discuss further with your ENT doctor and also where you work.

I hope this helps.
