Can Vitamin B Complex Be Consumed Daily?
I am currently not sick and want to increase my weight and increase my appetite. Now is it permissible to take vitamin B complex everyday to fulfill the vitamin? Thank you.
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Need to be clarified, for whose advice do you consume the B complex vitamins? What is your exact weight and height now? Is there a history of certain diseases that you suffered before?
Determining whether or not one's ideal weight should be done in an objective way, one of which can be by measuring BMI (body mass index). You are declared thin and need to go on a diet to gain weight if your BMI score is less than 18.5.
A decrease in appetite that is prolonged and not handled properly can indeed be one of the triggers of underweight. Many factors can cause decreased appetite, including because of stress, hormonal disorders, unhealthy lifestyles, side effects of drugs, digestive disorders, chronic diseases, and so on. Not only that, weight can also decrease dramatically even though there are no dietary problems, for example due to malignancy, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, and many other diseases.
You should not rush to overcome your condition by taking supplements, especially in the long run, without direct supervision from a doctor. Although generally harmless, in some sensitive people, taking vitamin B complex supplements often triggers side effects, for example nausea, diarrhea, allergies, and so on. Consumption of vitamin B complex supplements alone has also not been proven to increase appetite and weight significantly.
Better, you first check yourself to the doctor or a nutritionist to be evaluated, is it true that you are underweight, and if so, what is the cause of your lack of weight. That way, the doctor can certainly give you treatment in accordance with the cause of your condition.
In the meantime, to help you get a more ideal weight, we recommend:
Expand to exercise
Do not carelessly take medication or supplements before seeing a doctor
Don't stress excessively, calm your heart and mind
Eat regularly, moderate portions
Don't make it a habit to eat instant and preserved food
Eat a variety of balanced nutritional value foods, including fish, meat, vegetables, fruit, milk, and so on
Hope this helps ...
