Can Volleyball Work During A Fever?
may I not have fever playing volley ball
Thank you for the question.
Fever, or an increase in body temperature to more than 37.5 degrees Celsius, is generally a form of the body's general system reaction to fight infections that cause disease, or it can also be a sign of dehydration, excessive heat exposure, or side effects of certain drugs. Fever is often a worrying thing, but usually fever that occurs less than 1 week is caused by a virus and can heal itself with self-medication such as adequate rest and taking fever-reducing drugs such as paracetamol.
Basically when someone is having a fever, then it is a sign that the body is working against a disorder, and the condition of the body is not in top shape. Therefore, in patients who are experiencing fever, it is better to be advised to get adequate rest at home, because if the body is not fit and required to do activities that require extra energy such as exercise, the body must work stronger, the activity becomes less optimal, and healing of fever will be hampered. In addition to resting, you can also compress your forehead with warm water, take a heat-lowering medication such as paracetamol, and get enough nutrition and water intake of at least 2-3L a day.
Hope it helps and hopefully get well soon :)
