Can Wisdom Teeth Grow After The Gum Barrier Of Wisdom Teeth Is Cut?
Hi, I just got a dentist and the dentist cut a little bit of my gum that is blocking my wisdom teeth. Can my gums cut after my gums have grown?
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically, if your wisdom teeth are in a straight position and are not stuck with the molars in front of them (not impacted), your wisdom teeth will grow and come out on their own. To be able to know more clearly the position of your wisdom teeth, dentists will usually advise you to do a panoramic x-ray of the teeth first so that you can clearly see the position of your wisdom teeth that have not yet grown.
Wisdom teeth can sometimes cause pain and swelling in the surrounding gums. Some things you can do to overcome this condition include:
compress the cheek that has painful gum with a cold compress
gargle with salt water
be careful when eating so that there is no food stuck in the gums
brush your teeth regularly so that bacteria do not accumulate too much in your teeth and mouth
If the pain that you feel is so great and prolonged that it interferes with your activities, consult your dentist immediately.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
