Can You Get Pregnant Before Kb?
I want to ask I just gave birth for 2 months, a week ago I had sex before in KB but the sperm came out outside. I am not breastfeeding x. Can I get pregnant?
Hello Alfa, thank you for the question.
After giving birth, the body does need time to return to its normal state. However, in some conditions, especially if the mother is not breastfeeding, a woman can ovulate about 6 weeks after giving birth. However, if you are breastfeeding, ovulation usually returns to normal after about 6 months of breastfeeding. However, this depends on several things, for example, on the physical condition of the mother, and how long the baby is breastfeeding. This is the reason why breastfeeding is considered natural birth control huh.
But of course the two things above are not absolute, Alfa. Regarding the sexual activity that you do, in some studies, natural contraception by means of coitus interuptus is less effective, especially because it is difficult to predict whether sperm has entered the vagina or not after penetration is stopped. But again, this is not absolutely the case, because it could be in some people, this type of contraception is the most effective.
My advice at this time, it's best if you don't plan pregnancy in advance in the near term, try to plan the use of contraception, Alfa. The likelihood of pregnancy is greater, especially if you have sex without using contraceptives, and smaller when using contraceptives. There are many choices of contraceptives, such as male or female condoms, injection contraception, birth control pills, implant or implant contraceptives, and so on. Also consult your doctor, especially your gynecologist regarding the problem of choosing this contraceptive, yes, Alfa. In addition, it is advisable not to give each pregnancy too close a distance, especially if you gave birth by Caesarean section. The minimum recommended time is about 2 years after the previous C-section to be able to give birth again.
Hope this helps.
