Can You Give Fever Medicines To Children Mixed With Formula Milk?
In the afternoon, my child is over 3 years old, it is very difficult to take medicine, can the medicine for Tempra Paracetamol (syrup) fever be mixed with formula milk? Thanks.
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
Basically paracetamol does not have any interaction with milk and can be taken by mixing it with milk. However, when mixing drugs, you should not use too much milk because if you mix in too much milk, the child may not spend milk and the amount of medicine that enters the body will not be enough to reduce his fever. You may mix paracetamol with other drinks too (fruit juice, syrup, or any other drink that your child likes), but keep in mind that the amount of the drink is not too much so the medicine can enter the recommended dosage.
If you have difficulty giving medicine with a spoon, you can also buy a medicine syringe (without needles) or a medicine pipette and drink it through the syringe for your child.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
