Basically, a broken bone will heal in about 3 months even though it won't really be as strong as a normal bone. It takes several years (4-5 years) before finally the bones will become as strong as normal bones. If your bones have been managed properly when there is a fracture (surgery has been done and bone healing has been declared good), then now you can lift heavy loads.


Make sure you already know how to lift heavy loads correctly, do not immediately lift weights weighing 50-65 kg if you have not been accustomed to lifting such heavy loads before. Do lifting weights gradually until your muscles are accustomed to lifting such heavy weights. If you really want to do weight lifting for example, make sure you follow the instructions from your weightlifting instructor.
