Can You Use Contact Lenses And Glasses Together?
I want to ask r nMy eyes are minus 0.75 and cylinder 3. I also used glasses before minus the cylinder. But is it okay if I use contact lenses (ordinary) and glasses minus the cylinder at the same time? Harmful to eyes or not? Thank you
There are types of contact lenses that do not have the ability to correct vision, usually these contact lenses are used for aesthetic purposes only. Because of their non-manipulating visibility, you can use these contact lenses together with glasses that have the power of vision correction such as your minus-cylinder glasses.
However, it is important to note that the use of contact lenses risks causing various eye problems if they are used incorrectly. You are expected to not sleep when you are still using contact lenses, but also make sure how to care for contact lenses (washing, storing, attaching the lens) really awake.
And use contact lens products that have received official permission from the Food Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) or similar institutions such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) which is a kind of "BPOM" in the United States of America, to ensure that the products used are safe to use. Use the product according to the recommended product, so if the product is said to be used only within a period of 1 month, then do not use more than that time yes.
As for some of the risks that may arise from using contact lenses are conjunctivitis, keratitis, dry eye syndrome (due to prolonged use of contact lenses, this condition can trigger eye irritation), corneal ulcers.
Immediately stop using contact lenses if the eyes feel sore, dry, become red, itchy, or the eyes become runny. If the complaint persists more than 2 days after stopping contact lens wear or a wound, Syafika is advised to consult an ophthalmologist immediately for further treatment.
