What should I do? Currently still using eye drops polydemisin .. Do you have to replace the eye drops or do you have to replace the glasses?
Hello, thank you for the question to HealthReplies.com
After cataract surgery, patients can indeed experience some symptoms that make the eyes feel uncomfortable, such as:
blurred vision and distorted vision of red eyes and slight swelling of mild blackness at the bottom of the eye discomfort or itching of the eyes These symptoms will usually only last a few days, after 1 month these symptoms usually disappear altogether. The doctor will usually ask you to take control several times after the surgery to make sure the results of the surgery are good and there are no certain complications after the surgery. Antibiotic and anti-inflammatory eye drops are usually only given for 1-2 weeks (sometimes it can be given up to 1 month).
If up to 2 months your mother has never exercised control again after the cataract surgery and at this time the eyes still feel painful and uncomfortable, you should immediately bring your mother to take control to the eye doctor. Eye drops should only be used in accordance with the instructions of the doctor and not be continued or replaced alone without consulting an eye doctor directly. The use of eye drops in the long term (not according to the rules of the doctor) can cause its own complications in the eye.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
