Cause Like People Panic And Get Angry Themselves?
hi I have a question my father is 60 years old often like a panic and sometimes at will and sometimes angry at people, I try to take it to a psychiatrist but he refused, so I decided to consult with a general practitioner, a general practitioner concluded that from a history of illness you can experience things like this, but you can’t know how things like that can happen, please take a solution and treatment that must be taken 🙂
Good morning, thanks for asking at HealthReplies.com. We understand your confusion and are also concerned about your father's condition. Previously need to know, that the symptoms of mental disorders, such as anger, panic and personality changes as experienced by your father, can occur because of physical illness, not necessarily because it is purely due to mental disorders.
Among physical illnesses can be due to kidney disorders, liver disorders, disruption of oxygen supply to brain tissue, and much more. The disorder can be specified again, such as liver disorders if there is a viral infection, a history of alcohol consumption or others. Relationship with high blood pressure can be in the form of rupture of blood vessels, or kidney damage. That is why doctors are generally unable to confirm, because further tests are needed to find out the condition of your father.
So if the main cause is physical illness, the psychiatrist can't help much. Therefore, if your father refuses to be taken to a psychiatrist, do not force him, but take him to the doctor of internal medicine first to be examined, whether the condition has anything to do with the history of the disease. Which if it turns out there is, the underlying disease will be handled first, and could be a change in attitude will improve. If the internist doesn't find anything, ask your father where he should be examined, whether to a neurologist, or indeed to a psychiatrist.
Meanwhile, understand the condition of your father, speak kindly and gently to him. He is not in a reasonable condition for debate, he might not know what he is saying and doing. So try to teach his actions, and help him morally and materially. So, hopefully answering your question.
