Cause Unconsciously Taking People’s Things?
, I’m 18 years old, when I go to school or do activities I like to be unaware of taking other people’s things, I only realized when I got home and checked my bag that there were other people’s belongings in my bag. I don’t remember why it was in my bag and I don’t remember ever taking it. and it happens quite often. I always feel guilty when I return the item to its owner, even though I have absolutely no intention of taking other people’s belongings.
Thanks for the question. Maybe when you're on the move, that person's stuff mixes with your stuff so they don't accidentally get carried away. However, usually this does not happen often. If this condition occurs frequently, you may have kleptomania. Kleptomania is an impulsive control disorder in which the sufferer cannot stop himself from stealing. Kleptomania is different from theft which is motivated by profit seeking. In kleptomania, theft is carried out without intention and is motivated by psychological conditions. The stolen goods are generally small items that are not of high value. Patients will experience tension or pleasure when stealing and feel satisfied if they can take the item. However, after that usually the sufferer will feel guilty. However, this urge to steal will come back. The cause of this condition is not known with certainty but is related to abnormal levels of brain chemistry.
If this is still the case, don't hesitate to seek further medical help by consulting a psychiatrist/psychiatrist. Your doctor will need to ask you a series of questions to find out more about your complaint. If it is proven kleptomania, the doctor will suggest psychological therapy (in collaboration with a psychologist) and the use of drugs if necessary. Please you try to fight your desire to take other people's belongings. Try to think about the consequences if this continues (eg dealing with the authorities if you are caught).
Hope this information is useful.
