Causes And Overcome Thin Hair?
I am 20 years old but my hair is lacking in volume, as a result my scalp is visible. What are the causes and how to overcome them? Thank you very much
Hello niche, Thank you for the question.
Hair that looks lacking in volume often affects one's appearance and confidence. This condition can be caused by a number of factors:
hair fall out so the hair looks thin and has no volume
excessive hair oil production so hair is limp and non-volume
Human hair can normally fall out by 50-100 strands per day. However, if the amount of hair loss exceeds 100 strands per day it may be caused by a certain medical condition including hormonal changes, lack of nutrients that are important for hair growth, side effects of improper hair care, fungal infections of the scalp, autoimmune diseases, hyperthyroidism, high stress levels, side effects of certain drugs, and others. Hair loss can cause hair to appear thin on the top of the head or evenly distributed throughout the head or humps.
You can do the following suggestions:
Avoid excessive use of hair dryers or hair clamps
avoid using chemicals in the hair such as hair dye
Avoid tying hair too tight
Avoid combing hair when wet
consuming nutritious food that is complete and balanced
manage stress well
regularly wash your hair if you have oily scalp
change your hair style for example by curl your hair to make it look volume
If this condition is very worrying for you and you have done the methods above but did not produce results, do not hesitate to consult with a dermatologist further. The doctor will ask you further about this complaint and examine your scalp and hair. After ascertaining the cause, the doctor will provide appropriate treatment.
Hopefully this information is useful.
