Arthritis can indeed cause aches in various parts of the body, including in the right shoulder area. Arthritis is possible there are many causes. Some examples of the most common causes are rheumatoid arthritis (autoimmune disorders), gout arthritis (gout), osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, or septic arthritis. Not only pain, inflamed joints can also cause swelling, stiffness, cramps, tingling, and difficulty in movement. Most cases of arthritis are not limited to one joint area, but are also felt in a variety of other locations.
Aside from arthritis, the pain in your shoulder may also occur due to pinched nerves, neurotropic vitamin or mineral deficiency, post-injury, peripheral neuropathy (peripheral nerve damage), viral or bacterial infection, post-herpetic neuralgia, dislocation of shoulder joint, disruption psychosomatic, tendonitis, bursitis, and so on.
This pain, if extremely intense, or causes you difficulty running daily activities, it is better to go back to the doctor or neurologist for further evaluation, for example by X-ray, laboratory, CT scan, MRI, and so on. In this way, the doctor can give you the best treatment, such as by giving drugs, surgery, physiotherapy, and so on.
At home, you can first apply a pain relief cream to the area of your shoulder that is painful. Avoid excessive activity first, such as lifting heavy loads, using the side that is painful. Expand to do stretching sports, for example swimming or yoga. Avoid carelessly sorting painful areas. Don't forget, rest regularly on a comfortable sleeping pad (flat, not too soft, not too hard), and don't sleep on the side that is painful.
Hope this helps ...
