Causes And Treatment For Recurring Floaters?
Good morning, I am a sufferer of eye floaters for about 6 years, I want to ask a few weeks ago my eyes suddenly became more bright and floaters that were not visible before are now visible again, what is the cause, can it be like that? I just moved to work now in front of the computer and in the ac room which is quite bright, thank you
Floaters is a term used to describe the presence of shadows of objects in a person's field of vision and are usually in the form of an image such as dust or fine spots. Floaters can occur after seeing too bright light, or as a sign of certain diseases. Some of the medical conditions characterized by the appearance of floaters can include:
degeneration of the glass body (vitreous humor) for example due to age
bleeding in the glass body
Inflammation of the lining of the eye at the back of the eye, also known as uveitis
retina that is detached from its place (retinal detachment)
Floaters that occur only occasionally can generally be ignored because they do not indicate a serious medical condition. However, if the condition does not improve, it may require further treatment by an ophthalmologist, and therefore we advise you to consult an ophthalmologist for further examination and treatment. Here we attach an article about floaters. May be useful.
