I want to ask, right yesterday I misused skin care and as a result the skin was hot, pimpled, dry and peeling. How to cure it, and what causes it?

1 Answer:

Hello Naya, thank you for asking

Previously, I will try to answer your question, Dr. Rio.

On skin that is exposed to a substance / cosmetics and causes complaints as you feel that is hot, acne, dry and peeling is an irritating reaction to the substances or cosmetics you use. Each person's skin type is different, and of course also his sensitivity is different.

In the field of medicine, the condition of the skin that you are experiencing is called irritant contact dermatitis. That is an inflammation / inflammation of the skin arising from chemical irritants. The type of severity that can arise from the irritant depends on the time of use, the type and concentration of the substance itself. The longer you use it and your skin is exposed to these irritants, the complaints get worse.

Right now what you can do is:

Avoid contact with the irritating agent. If you already know the substances / skin care that irritates your skin, then stop using them as early as possible. You are also encouraged to find out what irritating substances contained in the skin care to avoid the possibility of irritation in the future.
Cold compress to reduce pain / heat that arises.
Use a skin moisturizer according to the type of face. Preferably based on natural / herbal (aloe vera / aloe vera) to reduce the risk of dry and peeling skin.
Don't squeeze pimples / scratching on irritated skin areas.
If the complaint is getting heavy and does not improve, it is better to consult with a doctor as soon as possible for the problem.

Thank you, hopefully this can answer your question :)
