Causes And Ways To Overcome Odors In The Vagina During Pregnancy 1 Month?
Hello, I am Lilis, aged 27 and currently I am 1 month pregnant, but for 2 days now my vagina has a slight odor and is often moist. In case I’ve dried with a special towel for the vagina each pee or bowel and clean the vagina from front to back. But my vagina smells a little, it doesn’t come out. Is that normal or what?
Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.
Moist vaginal conditions can occur naturally during pregnancy due to hormonal influences. However, if this condition is not treated properly, pathogenic microorganisms (such as fungi, bacteria, even parasites) are susceptible to flourishing, causing infection and triggering inflammation. This condition is likely to make your vagina then emit an unpleasant aroma. It is not impossible, this infection will also make your vagina itchy, sore, and abnormal vaginal discharge.
So that your condition does not get worse, we recommend that you do the initial treatment as follows:
Always cleanse the genitals with clean water every time you take a shower, have a bowel movement, and have sex. Clean from the vagina to the anus (front to back). No need to use any soap or deodorizer.
Dry your genitals well using a clean towel before dressing
Change your underwear regularly 2 times a day. Choose underwear that is not too tight, made of soft and absorb sweat (not linen).
Avoid unhealthy sexual activities
Do not hold your genitals with dirty hands
Don't make it a habit of holding back urination
Drink plenty of water
Do not carelessly take medication while pregnant
If with the above efforts your complaint has not improved in 1 week or more, we recommend that you consult yourself directly to the doctor or obstetrician to be handled properly according to the cause, yes. In cases that are suspected of being serious, the doctor can also direct you to undergo further examination, such as urine tests, ultrasound, and so on. With this examination, the potential for dangerous infections, or other more serious conditions, such as malignancy, can also be detected and treated early.
Hope this helps ...
