Hello. Good afternoon, Ms. Gtari. Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com
Assembled complaints experienced by mothers in the form of pain in the navel area, should be supplemented with some relevant information such as since the exact time the symptoms were experienced, how long the pain lasts, whether accompanied by nausea or vomiting or fever or decreased appetite or interference for bowel movements, whether the pain is triggered by something like spicy or sour eating, has there been a history of trauma or falls and bumps in the abdomen. Based on complaints that you submit, there is a possibility that the diagnosis is still very broad, some of which are related, i.e.
- appendicitis (early stages)
- Stomach injury
Appendicitis is a digestive tract problem that is often found, complaints usually begin with pain in the area around the navel associated with the nervous system owned by the appendix organ so that pain is located at an early stage around the navel and then it will start to move and localize the lower right abdomen. Pain in the appendix will usually be heavy by adding pressure to the abdominal area such as pressure from the outside, coughing, or straining. The appendix is usually accompanied by other symptoms such as mild fever, nausea or vomiting, and decreased appetite.
Stomach ulcers (gastritis) are digestive problems because there is a prolonged increase in acid in the lambug layer, causing injury to the stomach lining. The pain is usually sharp and triggered by foods that are too acidic or spicy, and will increase pain when the stomach is in an empty condition for a long time.
Pancreatitis is inflammation of the organs of the pancreas. Symptoms that are felt are abdominal pain that feels dull and sometimes spreads to the lower regions of the left shoulder blade, fever, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach pain when touched. Factors that increase the risk of pancreatitis are alcoholic drinks, gall blockage, high triglyceride cholesterol.
In the condition of pain in the stomach it should be more attention to matters related to diet, other digestive complaints, and patterns of life so far. While at home can be helped by avoiding things that trigger to aggravate conditions such as food too spicy or sour, alcoholic drinks, late to eat. It is expected to adopt a regular and healthy diet. But it would be better especially if the symptoms persist brought to consult with a specialist in internal medicine or a general surgeon so that it can be known with certainty the cause of abdominal pain by physical examination by a doctor and supporting examinations such as laboratory or imaging.
If the pain feels very heavy, difficult to pass wind, palpable stomach should be hardened immediately to the emergency department for immediate handling of the condition.
Thus the information we can convey. May be useful. Thank you
