Causes Blood Sugar To Rise Suddenly?
I want to ask, if the blood sugar suddenly rises because of what?
Basically, glucose in the blood is needed as "energy" from the cells in the body, including the brain, organs and muscles so that our bodies can function and move. In order to enter the cells, glucose needs insulin.
Under normal circumstances, blood sugar can fluctuate throughout the day. Several things that can make blood sugar rise suddenly include stress, or the presence of certain diseases. Normally insulin will allow this glucose to be used by the body's cells, so that blood sugar can be controlled. However, in diabetes, where there is insufficient insulin or insulin resistance, glucose can remain in the blood (not used) and cause blood sugar to rise.
The following are things that can cause blood sugar to rise suddenly:
Foods that contain lots of carbohydrates and sugar. Fiber foods can lower blood sugar Lack of sleep / lack of rest, can cause the body's ability to metabolize glucose can be reduced Stress or fatigue Lack of activity Certain drugs such as diuretics, depression medication, etc.
