Causes Bumps On The Tongue And Bleeding?
hello … I’m confused, whether this includes thrush or not. like this ,, my father’s tongue suddenly had 3 red bumps and bleeding. but my dad didn’t feel any pain at all. but how do you stop the blood … thanks.
Hi Nurhabibie .. Thank you for the question given.
The bumps on the tongue can give the sufferer discomfort because they can interfere with the chewing and speaking process. Some of the causes of bumps on the tongue include:
Cysts / sacs filled with fluid Retention cysts - pockets that form due to blockage of the saliva duct Leukoplak / pre-cancerous spots Tongue cancer - although not all lumps on the tongue are cancer, but lumps can also be caused by tongue cancer. To establish this diagnosis the doctor needs to carry out a biopsy / tissue collection to be examined in the laboratory. Lumps that bleed continuously can be caused due to a fragile lump and continuous friction due to movement of the tongue and due to friction with food. If the lump continues to bleed, gets bigger, gets bigger, it is better if you check your father to the dentist first. So that doctors can carry out an examination directly. If necessary, the doctor can refer your father to a specialist in other fields for further examination. Meanwhile, what can be done includes:
Avoid handling the lump Avoid excessive friction with food or when talking Can consume soft food first Drink enough water. Press gently and hold for a while to stop bleeding Hopefully useful
