Hello Princess, Thank you for the question.
Have you consulted with your doctor further to get further treatment? Are you still able to maintain your food and drink intake? Someone said to have diarrhea if the frequency of bowel movements increases, more than 3 times a day, accompanied by changes in the consistency of the stool to become more soft or runny. Usually complaints of diarrhea are accompanied by other complaints such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, fever, flatulence, headaches, decreased appetite, and weakness. In general, diarrhea is caused by infection of the digestive tract (intestine). This infection can be caused by viruses, bacteria, or parasites, which are transmitted by consuming contaminated food or drinks. In addition to intestinal infections, diarrhea can also be caused by food allergies, cow's milk allergy, lactose intolerance, intestinal inflammation, side effects of drugs, and others.
The main treatment for diarrhea sufferers is to maintain body fluid intake to prevent dehydration. It is recommended that you do the following tips:
consume water, broth, juice, or ORS to prevent dehydration
maintain food intake. You can consume food in small portions but more often to prevent nausea
avoid consuming spicy, oily and fatty foods
Avoid consumption of foods with high fiber
avoid consuming caffeinated, fizzy, and alcoholic drinks
Avoid consumption of food and drinks whose hygiene is not maintained
get enough rest
keep hands clean before eating
apply a warm compress to the area of the sick stomach to help reduce pain
If this complaint is very annoying or you have a high fever, weakness, unable to eat and drink at all, please consult your doctor immediately for further examination and treatment. Treatment that will be given by a doctor will be adjusted to the cause of the complaint you are experiencing.
Hopefully this information is useful, yes.
