Causes Eyes Suddenly Feel Like They’re Injured?
I want to ask this morning, my eye suddenly had a sore on the white part of the corner of my right eye. But it doesn’t hurt. I’m looking for that reason. If sub conjunctival bleeding is usually older. But I’m still young. Guess why? Thanks
Thank you for your question at HealthReplies.com. If you mean "wound" is the appearance of a blood vessel bursting, then this complaint is also known as a subconjunctival hemorrhage.
In the lining of the eyeball there is a clear layer called the conjunctiva, under which there are very small and fragile blood vessels. These blood vessels can burst and will heal on their own. These blood vessels can burst suddenly (spontaneously) or due to other causes such as increased pressure when sneezing, straining, coughing, or due to eye irritation, rubbing the eyes too hard and a history of high blood pressure.
So, it doesn't have to be because the patient is old. I hope this information is useful,
