These 3 days I always experience shortness of breath when in the office where I work, but when I come out of the office my breath becomes quite relieved. I am short of breath not accompanied by flu or cough or fever, but I am still afraid of the symptoms of corona. What is the cause? I have no history of traveling out of town and I always wash my hands after traveling lately. Thank you for waiting for your reply.

Shortness of breath can not only be caused by COVID-19 (Corona's disease). Can also, shortness of breath appear due to other reasons, such as asthma, bronchitis, pleural effusion, pneumothorax, gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastritis, intestinal obstruction, swollen heart, valve or rhythm disorders, electrolyte balance disorders, anemia, specific phobias, psychosomatic disorders, the influence of drugs, obesity, and so on.

Shortness of breath, if it is mild and temporary, and does not appear accompanied by more severe complaints, such as wheezing, vomiting, weakness, and so on, often harmless. It's just that, if the tightness that you feel is quite heavy, you should remain vigilant and see yourself directly to the doctor or internist. Concerned, this shortness occurs associated with serious illness, which can be dangerous if not treated immediately. If your doctor really suspects that your tightness is related to a serious illness, you may be referred later for an X-ray, ultrasound, or other testing.
